How Seedance 2.5 improves on Seedance 2.0

Seedance 2.5 is a major step up from 2.0. Here’s what changes:

• Clip length doubles to 30 seconds. A full 30-second clip generates in one pass. Characters, lighting, and scene continuity stay locked from first frame to last. No stitching, no separate passes. An extended beta mode supports clips up to 180 seconds.

• Resolution goes up to 4K. Output that holds up at production resolution, not just social-sized previews.

• 50 multimodal reference inputs. Up from 12 in Seedance 2.0. Supply a reference for every character, product, or object in your scene using images, video clips, and audio files. Each subject stays stable across the full clip.

• Region-level editing. Fix a product label, adjust a face, or replace a background by editing only that region. The rest of the clip stays intact, preserving lighting, composition, and motion.

• 20% better prompt adherence. Complex briefs with specific camera angles, character actions, and lighting directions resolve correctly more often on the first generation.

• Native audio sync. Audio is generated in the same pass as the video. Footsteps, ambient sounds, and effects are synchronized to on-screen action without a separate audio step.
